What Are the Benefits of Electronic Recycling

In the world today there are so many electronics such as computers, televisions, cell phones, tablets that when they are no longer useable something has to be done with them. Every year there is approximately forty-nine million metric tons of electronic waste generated worldwide according to the United Nations Environmental Program. Of these forty-nine million metric tons, approximately three million of that electronic waste is produced in the United States alone. When a person or business opts to use electronic recycling they are enabling these devices to be reused and are changing waste material into new products. There are many benefits in electronic recycling. There will be a cleaner environment. Most electronic waste is being dumped or sent to landfills, which are becoming scarcer. Doing this occupies a lot of space and spreads harmful toxins by degrading the ground water. This makes a dangerous situation for humans, animals, and plant life. When you recycle your electronics, it saves space in your landfills and helps to prevent other areas of the land from becoming dumping grounds. Recycling will also prevent the toxins from causing environmental pollution. There are also the health benefits of electronic recycling. Electronic products are manufactured from different types of gases and plastics along with harmful elements like lead. When people and businesses just dump their electronics these chemicals are released into the air and the earth. These chemicals not only pose a threat to the health of the people who dump the electronics but also to others who live near the dumping grounds and landfill. Many of the electronics, especially computer hardware, has many things that can be re-utilized and some of them do not require any processing. Some big companies even have their own recycling facilities where all of the reusable material is put to good use after it is sorted out and the reset is disposed of properly. Apple is one of those big companies that do this. By doing this, the recycled parts that were taken out do not have to be manufactured again saving energy and resources to make a new part. One of the best benefits of electronic recycling is that if these products are recycled companies will not have to manufacture most of the components in electronics from scratch. The downside of this is that there could be the loss of some jobs. By recycling electronics the production costs will be reduced making electronics more affordable to everyone. Eventually this will help the economy. To utilize these benefits of electronic recycling you must take your electronics to proper recycling centers that are run by professionals who know how to recycle them using the proper safety measures. The recycling center should be government approved. Ava Electronic Recycling are the Premier Chicago electronics recycling company of all types of electronics recycling, metals and junk vehicles. For large quantities, we have free pick up. Make sure you go with a trusted company like AVA Recycling when it comes to computer recycle, data destruction, hard drive shredding. Getting It Right the First Time - The Importance of Quality in IT

There is an old saying in Information Technology which is ancient by the standards of the industry but one which nevertheless seems to need to be rediscovered anew by each successive generation. That simple expression of wisdom is: "Get it right the first time" In fairness, that saying probably doesn't have its origins in IT but it is particularly true in this discipline because technical mistakes are easily made but sometimes exceptionally difficult and expensive to correct. You simply can't have IT support staff or developers just operating on a trial and error basis when it comes to your installation. Learning on the job may have its advantages and advocates in some industries but within IT it's an approach guaranteed to yield catastrophe. Why? Broadly speaking, any error in Information Technology found after implementation will cost about 10 times more to put right than would have been the case had it been detected and corrected at an earlier stage in the development lifecycle. Then there are all the additional issues arising from visibility. Mistakes in IT technical computer support services or application development could stop your business dead in its tracks or be visible to your customers. Even if that doesn't result in a direct cost to your establishment, it may well prove to be embarrassing and also possibly detrimental to your reputation and credibility. So, the message is clear. You really do need to ensure that your technical support personnel, whatever specialised services they are providing, get it right. How can you make sure they do so? Clearly you are an expert in your business and presumably want to spend your time managing it rather than becoming a technical guru and IT quality assessment supervisor. So, there is no suggestion here that you should be micro-managing the activities of your IT staff whether they are in-house or outsourced. If you have an in-house IT shop then clearly you will be recruiting senior IT people of the highest calibre who will be able to make sure that standard industry approaches to quality assurance will be adopted at all times. However, if you have part of your IT operation outsourced then you will need to make just as certain that you have selected IT technical support services that are expertly qualified and operate strict standards for quality assurance in everything they do. This is yet another reason why price alone should never be the prime criterion for selecting a service provider in this domain. It's always worth asking external providers what quality assurance methodologies they adhere to and how they will make sure they "get it right the first time". If they are professional and suitably qualified they will understand your question and give you a satisfactory in-depth answer. If they don't understand the question or are an unable to answer comprehensively, then you might want to think about perhaps looking to another organisation to entrust with your business! Shared Hosting Vs Dedicated VPS

Two of the most popular hosting services available today are the shared hosting and the dedicated VPS. The latter is different from dedicated hosting, but is also quite similar in many ways. Dedicated VPS Hosting Dedicated VPS is the closest setup one can have to owning a dedicated server. In this setup, the users are allowed to provision a remote server over the Internet. It is a kind of virtualization that enables a non-dedicated server to act as if it was. Each virtualization has its own disk space, CPU allocation, bandwidth, memory and operating systems, all independent from other users. Comparing These 2 Hosting Essentially, shared hosting is a physical server whose resources are shared to multiple users. Many places sell unlimited resources to each user, but there is in fact a limit to the resources available. Also, the use of those resources is first come, first serve. For this reason, looking at the cost, shared hosting is much less expensive than dedicated VPS. Multiple users cover expenditures on each machine; hence, it becomes a more economical choice. Imagine buying a car that belongs only to you versus buying a car with 100 other people. The cost is high if you purchase alone and much lower if you purchase with other people. You may have unrestricted access (unlimited resources) both ways. But in reality, if someone else is using that resource, you cannot use it at the same time. With this, the users do not have to conduct technical maintenance to keep their sites up and running. It is so because shared hosting providers take care of service maintenance and upkeep. On a shared environment, there is little to no ability to customize the server, so if you run special programs or things with special requirements, then this is not a good choice for you. There is also some security risk to being on a server with so many people. If one person is not secure and they are hacked, it can affect the available resources or even put your own content at risk. For dedicated VPS, you can get either managed or unmanaged deals and decide how technical maintenance should be done. In terms of cost effectiveness, there is no direct answer as to which is better when comparing shared hosting vs dedicated VPS. It is dependent on the needs to the person. True enough, shared hosting is cheaper. If you need very few resources, can share an environment with others (less secure), and do not need any customizations, then shared hosting can be a great deal. But for users needing a better array of resources at their disposal, dedicated VPS is very affordable and offers significant price savings from fully dedicated servers. In terms of reliability, dedicated VPSs are more efficient and robust as they provide serious storage space - an affordable solution for disk intensive applications. Unlike in shared hosting, your disk space is not limited. With other VPS, you are guaranteed optimum and significantly better performance compared to shared hosting. Each has its own RAM, CPU, bandwidths and OS. Which is better? The answer to that question essentially relies on what your needs are. You need not pay for the more expensive rates of dedicated VPS if your site does not require so. If you are simply running a blog or a small leisure site for instance, shared hosting is a better choice. Just because in our comparison of shared hosting vs dedicated VPS the resources allocation can become a problem doesn't mean you should not opt for it. Again, it all varies and relies on your needs. Consider buying dedicated VPS if you have increased traffic and resource usage in your site. In a typical shared hosting vs dedicated VPS comparison, it is to be expected that in a shared setup, performance issues are more prominent. Therefore, if you are planning to expand your site, grow your features and are expecting a significant flow of visitors, opt for dedicated VPS. Yawig Corporation offers reliable and High performance Dedicated Servers for your sensitive data, Yawig provides dedicated server hosting services to the organization networks. Setting Realistic Expectations for Your SEO Campaigns

As a business owner, positive results are all you care about. If you aren't getting them fast enough then it's not good enough. You want as many calls and leads coming through as you can possibly manager. The sooner you get these results, the sooner you can meet your long-term goals, and the sooner your business will grow as a result.

This attitude can be both a positive and a hindrance. It's all well and good to be eager to get results, but often impatience gets the best of us and we begin to get frustrated. If you've got a good online marketing agency in your corner, they will have spoken to you about this when you first signed on with them.

Thinking Long Term

The first thing to remember is that SEO is a long-term solution that should be based on long term goals. Trying to achieve immediate success is something that will never happen. Further to this, SEO campaigns are never ending; they must be persisted with in the knowledge that putting in the required time and having some patience will begin to see results. If you and your online marketing agency continue to work on it, the better ROI you'll realise.

When you begin your SEO campaign and how it will look in the future, try not to have too many expectations on what should happen. Every site is different and every site responds to different strategies. Also, as digital marketing is constantly evolving, what worked last month might not work this month due to a change in an algorithm by Google. The good news is that if your online market agency are doing their job, they will have read up on this and begun planning how to best combat it.

You Only Get Out What You Put In

You need to recognise from the beginning that the success of an SEO strategy relies heavily on the input of both you and your online marketing agency. While they will do a majority of the work to optimise your website so it ranks higher on Google, you too will need to put in the hard yards. Having a team of SEO specialists working with you will give you structure and direction with your plan.

That's not to say that you can't do all of this by yourself. However, trying to run a business while juggling to prioritise your key channels of optimisation is extremely difficult. Don't be afraid to get some assistance from an online marketing agency in your local area. There are plenty of them out there; you just have to work out which one is best for you.

Evaluating Your Plan

No doubt before you start an SEO campaign, you've probably got a list of expectations about how your campaign is going to pan out. But as previously mentioned, every business is unique and you can't predict your results. The good news is that marketing strategies are built to be flexible and allow for any unexpected issues that might come up.

A good idea is to re-evaluate your plan when you reach a milestone in your campaign. You'll need to take a look at everything about your plan: your progress, your current strategy, and your goals. You'll be able to make tweaks and adjustments throughout the process, fine tuning everything until you find that balance of investment and payoff in the areas you want to develop.

After One Month...

At the start of the first month, you'll be at the ground floor. Make sure your online marketing agency has set up a Google Analytics account for your website and that the tracking script is set up. Remember to document where your metrics are at that time as this will act as a point of reference when you are comparing at different stages.

It is during this month that you'll be helping create a lot of systems and procedures to ensure your campaign moves forward. Measuring results at this stage is pointless as nothing much has happened. If anything it'll give you an idea of how people might respond to your content, but there will be little to no major insights to look at.

After Three Months...

After three months of your campaign, you'll be able to get a more accurate reading. Again, check your Analytics as this will be able to tell you how much your traffic has grown. The team at your online marketing agency will need to manage your expectations here if you happen to see a slight increase. Remember - it's a marathon, not a sprint. You're in it for the long haul.

It's at this point that you might want to start evaluating the effectiveness of your content. If you happen to notice one type of content getting more attention than others, then consult your online marketing agency about what the best course of action is to take.

At Six Months?

At six months you should be able to make a definitive analysis of how well your campaign is tracking. If you haven't seen much change, or if the growth is inconsistent, it might be the result of an algorithm change. This is where your online marketing agency will really earn their dollars by implementing a solution to combat this issue.

It's important to set realistic expectations for your SEO campaign. Getting impatient and frustrated with a lack of results after a few months won't get you the results you want. Better to take a deep breath and remind yourself that you are in this for the long haul. Your online marketing agency is and they will work with you every step of the way to make sure you realise the results you are after.

7 SEO Facts Business Owners Must Keep In Mind

1. Change is Inevitable

Not only has Google developed a reputation for regularly rolling out major changes to their algorithm, but many other aspects of online marketing also change on a regular basis. Because this type of change is going to happen, it's important to account for it in any strategies you develop.

2. SEO Isn't Something to Set and Forget

While there are certain optimization tactics you can do one time and then be done with for the foreseeable future, SEO is an ongoing effort. When businesses fail to commit to SEO, it's nearly impossible for them to get the results they want.

3. Mobile SEO Matters

Using a responsive design for your website is a good starting point for mobile SEO. However, because local website optimization also plays a role in these rankings, it's important to address additional issues as well. Geo-targeting, user navigation and customized experiences are all factors that can play a role in how well a website ranks in mobile search results.

4. Your CMS Can Make or Break Your Rankings

Choosing a new CMS isn't a decision that should be taken lightly. One of the many ways it can affect your site is through rankings. While an optimized CMS can provide a lot of help in terms of rankings, the wrong one can hold you back. And even if a quality CMS is selected, it's important to transition properly in order to protect any existing rankings.

5. Small Changes Can Have a Big Impact

This reality of SEO is a double-edged sword. Since there are times when trying to rank can be very frustrating, it's reassuring to know that the rankings your site deserves may just be a small change away. On the other hand, if you've managed to establish very good rankings, it can be a little scary to realize that even if it's something small, making the wrong change to your site can have very serious consequences.

6. SEO Shouldn't Exist in a Bubble

A big part of getting the most out of search engine optimization for business is understanding that this practice doesn't exist in a bubble. While it is important to ensure that all of your SEO efforts are in the hands of capable professionals, you also need to take into account how search engine optimization interacts with everything else you're doing online and offline. By finding the best ways to integrate all of your efforts, you'll be able to generate the best possible results.

7. Google Doesn't Owe You Anything

While this last point may sound harsh, the sooner you take it to heart, the sooner you'll be able to develop a truly effective SEO strategy for your website.

Why SEO Is Important to Online Marketing

As digital marketing innovations have emerged over the past few years, some advertising tactics have grown obsolete while others have simply adapted to the ever-changing climate of online marketing. SEO, perhaps one of the least understood internet marketing tools, has survived the evolution of online advertising and now offers more than just keyword and website ranking insight. A company that depends upon their digital marketing activities to bring consumers closer to their brand should keep in mind the following reasons SEO still needs to be an integral part of their overall strategy for reaching online customers.

1 - SEO is #1 in ROI for Digital Marketing

While SEO performance is hard to predict and takes time and resources to perfect, it can easily have the highest ROI of any online tool used. It all depends on a company choosing the right keywords and driving enough traffic to their webpages to increase the ranking and gain more of the audience share. A top ranked SEO site can receive as much as 33% of the engagement from all Internet users. For companies that capitalize on popular search terms and generate highly-visited webpages, the ROI could continue to grow exponentially. While being in the top spot is a difficult feat, it is entirely possible with proper analysis and adjustment of an ongoing web presence.

2 - SEO is Tightly Linked to Social Media and Blog Sites

If SEO is managed well, a company's social media and blog sites will also get a lot of traction. SEO originated as a collection of links ranked by their click rate. Keywords strengthened the click rate when closely tied to consumer behavior and common search terms. Social media and blogs take link building a step further; in the same way websites are ranked on their amount continuous visits, social media sites and blogs are ranked on their amount of visits, comments, likes, and shares. The more robust a social media presence, the better a company does on the whole. An effective SEO strategy will help link content marketing pages with target users when used properly.

3 - Video Ads are Built with SEO in Mind

Social media and other forms of content marketing are quickly gaining ground on the original forms of online advertising that once reigned. As a result, video advertising is expected to take the top spot in coming years as the most-used form of advertising, simply because its engagement rates have skyrocketed in the past couple years. Consumers gravitate towards content they can view rather than content they have to read.

Although it is not as prevalent as social media for now, advertisers are beginning to transition over to this booming media form and consumers should expect to see a rise in content-rich videos across the Internet. The most popular videos will of course be built around SEO keywords and linked and shared in ways that optimize traffic and increase the long-term SEO ranking for that brand.

4 - SEO Lays the Foundation for PPC, Banner Ad and Email Marketing Campaigns

Although content marketing continues to succeed at achieving customer engagement, PPC, banner ads, and email marketing campaigns still play a significant role in the overall strategy. Email currently takes second place to SEO in ROI, meaning that a strong SEO strategy coupled with an optimized email campaign could mean online marketing gold for top-performing brands. Email blasts can be supplemented by PPC and banner ads that all redirect to the same webpage. Although both successful SEO and email campaigns require a large commitment of time and resources, as well as constant adjusting to match market trends, their payoff is well worth the investment.

While many people assume SEO is archaic because it's been around for so long, its easy to see that it still remains a central part of online marketing strategies and has evolved to meet the current industry needs. There are multiple sources online as well as agencies that can help bolster a brand's SEO ranking. Companies wanting to boost their current SEO performance and those who are new to its capabilities should start to explore the endless opportunities this tool offers for online exposure to consumers.

Need of High-Quality Content in Today's World

Nowadays creation of high-quality content is a crucial content marketing tool, which enables companies to achieve meritorious results, regardless of the size of their company. The only trick is to develop distinguished content for customers over the course of time. It will keep your potential clients engaged that will inspire them to be a regular reader.

However, there is no standard tool for creating high-quality content and no magic formula that provides you the quality resources to do this with ease. Eminent content marketing requires numerous factors including target audience, voice and branding.

Here are some tips to create high-quality content:

Regular

To get the required result from content marketing, you should be consistent. The content provided by you requires to be consistent so that your client know what to expect from you - in respect of both the content and the information provided by you.

If your customer feel they can rely on and trust you, they will surely come back for more information. Likewise, if your customers are uncomfortable with the content or aren't sure when the next article you will publish then they are more unlikely to visit back for more.

Easy to Understand

The content developed by you should be easy to understand by the readers - and compelling that keep them reading the complete article. Start your content with an eye-catchy title, consequently attracting the customer to the first paragraph and from there, to the body of your article. The purpose is either to inform, educate, entertain or a combination of all these factors, and to make them linger on your blog or website for longer.

If your customer come back for some new stuff, they are creating healthy relationships with your brand and your company.

User Friendly

Another crucial aspect of developing high-quality content is keeping that document fully customized to the customers. Your primary goal is to appeal to their mind and heart, and this can be achieved if you understand your target customers better. Your customer needs to feel good as if you are directly talking to them, not to an unknown audience.

High-Quality Content Writing: A Profitable Investment

Content marketing is about creating value for your business by building brand awareness among your customers. It's about generating relationships with your product or service buyer that make them feel valued, thus in turn forming a close, long-term loyal relationship with your brand and business.

So create high-quality content to engage more and more customers with your business.

Learn Why Your Business Should Utilize Infographics

Infographics have become and remained so popular that there are critics who have said that this medium would fizzle out. But while Google did take action against unsavvy SEO providers that abused infographics to help build links, quality infographics that deliver on what they promise continue to be extremely popular on social media.

If you're thinking utilizing infographics to market your own business, it's worth taking a deeper look at both the benefits and potential downsides of this form of marketing, as well as what it takes to create great infographics:

The Pros and Cons of Creating Infographics

The biggest benefit of infographics is that they can take statistics that might be considered boring and deliver them in a package that makes them interesting. Another major benefit is because most social media users like infographics, the likelihood of this content being shared many times is significantly higher than a standard blog post that only contains text.

The main downside to creating an infographic is it's nearly impossible to predict whether one will go viral or just be a moderate success. The reason that may be considered a downside is it generally takes the same amount of time to create a moderately successful infographic as it does to create one that ends up being a smash hit. The best way to combat this issue is to commit to consistently publishing 1 or 2 infographics every single month.

The Process of Creating an Infographic

There are a few different ways that infographics can be created. Regardless of how the design is handled, the process usually begins with an idea and then a lot of research. Once all the necessary information has been gathered, the design process can begin. If the person creating an infographic isn't a designer, they're likely to use a tool like Venngage or Piktochart. And if a designer is doing the work, they'll use a program like Photoshop to create the image from scratch.

While tools like Piktochart are empowering for individuals who don't have design skills, there are definite limitations to this type of infographic. It's also worth noting that it can still take a long time to create an infographic. So if you're interested in getting the best result and don't currently have a designer on staff, it's going to be best to hire a professional to help you.

How to Use Website Monitoring Services to Increase Your Online Profits

It has become evident that poor website performance can be just as damaging to your company's bottom line as a complete outage of your website. In fact, poor performance may be even more damaging than website downtime in the long run. Fortunately, with quality website monitoring service in place, you can keep an eye on the performance of your site and if your site begins to perform poorly, you can take measures to improve your site's performance and, therefore, protect or even increase your online profits. Just how can a website monitoring service increase your company's profits? Here are some things to keep in mind...

What Optimal Performance Means for Your Site

Studies show that nearly 90 percent of online shoppers choose online stores that provide websites with high performance and a user-friendly interface. If a page on a site fails to load within 3 seconds, those users will give up and abandon the site. Among those, about 80 percent will not revisit a site with poor performance. In fact, 50 percent of the shoppers who visit a website with poor performance develop a permanent negative impression of that site. To make things worse, about 45 percent of those shoppers are more than happy to share their negative shopping experience with others. If your site is performing perfectly, this means that you aren't losing customers and damaging your online reputation due to slow page load times and customer frustration. If, on the other hand, you allow your site to remain online while underperforming, you can be losing customers and credibility by the hour.

What Is the Payoff for Increasing Your Site's Performance?

So let's say you invest in website monitoring service that monitors your site's performance in addition to checking for website downtime. What can you expect the payoff to be? To get an idea of what the payoff is, one must look to other sites who have done just that.

Let's take Shopzilla for example. The company decided to speed up its average page load time from a whopping 6 seconds to an admirable 1.2 seconds. As a result, the site experienced a revenue increase of approximately 12 percent. In addition, page views increased by approximately 25 percent.

Amazon is another great example of how website performance can affect online profits. Each time Amazon speeds up its average page load time by 100 milliseconds, it sees a corresponding 1 percent increase in revenue. For a company as large as Amazon, that simple 100 millisecond difference equates to millions of dollars in profits captured each year.

The key to making money online is giving consumers what they want, and in a day and age where instant gratification is expected and demanded, consumers want a website with impeccable performance. A site that performs up to the expectations of visitors is the key to turning those visitors into sales.

Investing Where It Counts

If you want your site to make money online, you have to invest in your site. However, simply investing in your site's design, branding, and marketing isn't enough nowadays. Website monitoring service is one investment that can actually pay for itself. Investing in products and services that can improve the performance of your site is another investment that can provide a significant ROI. When it comes to strategizing your site's growth and profitability, remember that these services aren't necessarily just expenses. They are actually investments in the long-term success of your site and a website monitoring service can be one of the most powerful tools in your online success arsenal.

Why Some Content Sucks While Other Content Makes The Dough

It's easier than you might think! Here are a few tips to get you to the top of the search engines:
• Target specific non-competitive keywords in your titles and use then throughout your content.
• Have attention grabbing titles and headlines that searchers want to click on your search engine listings.
Example: Dog Potty Training vs Cool Dog Potty Training Trick To Train Your Puppy In 10 Minutes.
• Don't go overboard on content - make it easy to read (super long isn't always better - supper targeted will beat quality most of the time).
• Have Ads and Opt-in forms sparingly (don't have the first thing they see be a big Opt-in form with no content or a huge Ad with Hard-To-Find content)
Little secret: Google loves itself and loves making money so having AdSense sparingly on your site instead of another 3rd party advertising platform can help.
Another secret: Having YouTube videos on your site can also occasionally help if they are very targeted to the keywords.
• You don't have to have all the content on your main site or your sales page (and often don't want it on your sales page).
• Blog or content sites can be used to drive traffic from the search engines to your blog/content sites and then from there to your sales page (be careful not to act as a bridge page, we don't want bouncing).
• The more often you add more content to your sites on regular basis, the more often, Google and others will stop by and index the new content and rank it.
• The more content you have the more chances you have of ranking those pages for various keywords (even unintentional ones), just be sure to have targeted content going to different pages that are each targeting each different keywords/title tags.
Huge Mistake Most People Make
People often make the huge mistake of setting up one or a few pages on their website, if you have a page that targets a specific keyword... How many opportunities does that give you to rank the page on Google?
ONLY ONE!
If you have only one page, you can only easily get ranked for 1 keyword, if you have 10 pages you can get ranked for 10 keywords, that's potentially 10 times the traffic.
Simple SEO Math
So if 10 pages is 10 times as good as 1 page...
• How valuable would 100 unique keyword targeted pages be?
OR
• How valuable would 500 unique keyword targeted pages be?
BUT
You can't just put up a bunch of crappy pages and expect that Google's going to love them just because you want them to; you need decent quality pages that are properly set up for the best SEO result.
I hope you liked these tips and are useful to you.
To your success!
